Representatives of the Belmond Community Apartments and the Leinbach Center asked the Wright County Supervisors Monday for funding for a generator to provide backup power at the complex in the event of an electrical outage.

The request was for a share of the county’s federal Covid-19 relief funds. The estimate for the project is $138,000-$183,000. The 88-unit apartment complex is an all-electric facility.

The supervisors agreed to investigate the request and check on the rules and regulations regarding the proposal.
