The Belmond-Klemme football scored a rushing and a passing touchdown in the fouth quarter of the last district game of the season. The Broncos lost to South Central Calhoun 48-12 last Friday.

  Clayton Pletsch completed a halfback pass to Brody Paulsen for a 30-yard touchdown, while Brian Duran rushed for a one-yard score.

  Along with his touchdown pass, Pletsch rushed for 95 yards on 15 carries. Cameron Roberts amassed 40 yards on 11 carries.

  Duran completed four of six passes for 57 yards.

  Paulsen had three catches for 55 yards, while Roberts caught one pass for 27 yards and Robert Naranjo had one catch for five yards.

  On the defensive side, Roberts was credited with six tackles (four solo). Hayden Pals had four tackles (three solo), followed by Aiden Friedow with 2.5 tackles (two solo), Naranjo, Pletsch and Alsafe Qoraish with two solo tackles each, Gavin O’Connor with one solo tackle, and Michael Schleisman, Raymundo Castillo and Alex Flickinger with one assist apiece.

  Pletsch also intercepted a SCC ball.

  While district play is over and state playoffs start Friday, the Broncos have scheduled an additional game. B-K will travel to Lake Mills Friday to face the Bulldogs who have a 2-6 record. The game will start at 7 p.m.
