Madison Barrus added a baseline jumper in the second quarter, followed by an Addison McMurray steal. The Eagle offense demonstrated why it is one of the top teams in the conference. As the quarter came to an end, Meyer added another two points to make the score WH 33, B-K 16.
In the second half, Molly Hartwig scored a quick two point basket, followed by Madison Barrus’ jump shot. The Broncos continue to find the basket, thanks to an Allison Barrus steal for an Addison McMurray lay-up.
B-K played a better second half of offense, adding another 11 points. However, the Eagles seemed to answer back every Bronco score. The third quarter came to an end with the WH on top 54-33.
In the final period, Madison Barrus pulled down an offensive rebound and put back for two points. McMurray continued to have a nice night on offense, adding two more points. But WH continued to pressure throughout the whole fourth quarter, taking the win 71-41.
