For the second time this season, the Belmond-Klemme were shut out in a football game. The Broncos lost to cross-county and district foe Eagle Grove 38-0 Oct. 8.

  B-K had 46 total yards of offense.

  Brian Duran completed six of 12 passes for 25 yards. He rushed for five yards on six carries.

  Clayton Pletsch led the rushers with 14 yards on nine carries. Cameron Roberts picked up four yards in eight carries.

  Pletsch caught two passes for 10 yards, while Nicholas Jenison grabbed four passes for 15 yards.

  The defense was led by Roberts with 9.5 tackles (seven solo), and Hayden Pals with seven tackles (five solo). Other Broncos with stats included: Brody Paulsen with 6.5 tackles (six solo); Aiden Hobscheidt with 3.5 tackles (three solo); Alex Flinkinger with three tackles (one solo); Robert Naranjo with 2.5 tackles (one solo); Duran and Michael Schleisman with two solo tackles apiece; Raymundo Castillo with two tackles (one solo); Aiden Friedow and Alsafe Qoraish with 1.5 tackles (one solo each); Jose Andrade with one solo tackle; and Jenison with two tackle assists.

  The Broncos will face Class 1A, District 2 leader South Central Calhoun (6-1) in Lake City Friday night.
