Marcia (Stoltenberg) Brade, 76, died Feb. 25, 2020 after a multi-year battle with Alzheimer's Disease. There are no funeral arrangements at this time.
Marcia was born in Belmond to Arlo and Lucille Stoltenberg. She graduated from Belmond High School in 1961. She moved to Virginia when her husband was detailed to the White House Communications Agency.
Marcia spent countless years cheering and video recording her sons’ wrestling matches. She worked many years at Computer Sciences Corporation and the Miller & Chevalier Law Firm. She was often found at the Stonewall Jackson High School concession stand where she worked tirelessly as a booster club member. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and wife.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Robert, the love of her life.
She leaves behind amazing memories and her sons Todd Brade, Neal Brade and Marc Brade; grandchildren Colleen, Owen, Jean, Keegan, Laurel, Kendall and Beckham; daughters-in-law April, Andi and Katie; and siblings Lefty Stoltenberg and family, and Sondra Gillespie and family.
Marcia was our best friend, our number one cheerleader, and had a positive impact on anyone she met. She cherished her children, grandchildren and family. Marica will forever be loved and missed.
