Enrollment at Belmond-Klemme has dropped eight students, according to the official count that was held Oct. 1.

  There are 332 students at the elementary school, down 28 from last year’s count. The junior/senior high has 356 students, an increase of 20 students.

  Superintendent Dan Frazier estimated the enrollment drop would cost the district about $60,000 in lost state revenue.
