Last Friday’s “blizzard” ended up dumping only four inches of heavy, wet snow on Belmond. It was less snow than anticipated, but it was perfect for building sculptures during a snow day from school.
This tall snowman had to be re-built after the original one fell over in the above-freezing temperatures. Bridget Heideman, left, Lyla Swenson and Ruby Swenson, sitting on the head of a new snowman, along with Isaac Swenson, spent part of the afternoon putting their snowman back together. He is wearing a Belmond-Klemme “Support the Troops” face mask.
