The Wright County Board of Supervisors have announced the death of Wright County Economic Development Director Cindy Litwiller. Litwiller, 65, died March 20, 2021 at a hospital in Goodyear, AZ after a battle with Covid-19. She had worked in Wright County since July 2018.
She is survived by her husband Merlin of Fort Dodge, and three adult children.
Sandy McGrath of the public health department updated the board on Covid -19 cases and vaccinations. She has noted an increase of only two or three cases per week recently. But she reiterated that face masks are still required.
Over 5,400 doses of vaccine have been administered in the county so far. This includes over 1,300 doses of the one-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine. Clinics around the county continue. Call Wright County Public Health for more information at 515-532-3461.
